The Story

Founded in 1979, Otto Nemenz International, Inc., specializes in the rental and maintenance of motion picture and digital cinema cameras, lenses, and accessories.
Our inventory includes the latest cameras from manufacturers such as ARRI, SONY, and RED, as well as a vast lens inventory of 16mm, 35mm and large format options.

Otto Nemenz

Founder and CEO

Mr. Otto Nemenz, founder and CEO of the company, is an accomplished Director of Photography and has a degree in engineering from the Vienna Technical Institute in Austria.

He has been instrumental in the advancement of technology in the motion picture industry since 1964, and is an associate member of the American Society of Cinematographers and a member of the I.A.T.S.E. Local 600.

In 1982, Otto designed and built the company’s old facility in Hollywood.

In 2020, after 38 years in Hollywood, the company moved to a brand new 38,000 square foot facility in Culver City, CA.

The Otto team consists of over 40 full-time professional employees.
